What? Me? Excited?

Gad. I peed on my pants. seriously (joking).

iPod. with Video.
iTunes 6
new iMac. with Built-in iSight and included remote plus a new app called FrontRow that's similar to the "media center' shell in Windows XP Media Center edition, but the UI simpler. predictable. heh.

and the best expected gift of my day:
Ubuntu Breezy.

Now allow me to shriek like a girl.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

  4. personally (and no offense to those who want the x86 based macs), id rather pick up a mac now with either a g4/5 processor than wait for them x86's.

    but thats just my opinion.

  5. hehe. saka na kami ma-oofend pa may iMac na kami.

I don't know if our reasons are the same, but I also feel that powerpc-based macs are more "special" (for me at least) than the upcoming x86-based machines. I really wish Apple didn't have to jump ship. No matter how Steve Jobs and co. spin the fact, the heart of the mac is beyond the OS. PowerPC is such an elegant platform, and the fact that eventually all future macs will ship without it creates a certain void to the image of the mac. And lastly, let me point you to the best "the day after..." article i have ever read: John Siracusa's Picking up the Pieces...
